  • Music, poems, theater and art installations represented by younger Chilean generations that were either born or grew up in California. More information

 

FriFRIDAY 28: 8PM

Reception, photographic exhibition, readings, videos and slideshows

 

 

 

  • A special gathering with the Chilean, Latin American and North American community to visit a photo exhibition depicting the beginnings of the Chilean community and its development. Enjoy a series of readings, videos and slideshows. If you participated in organizing the Chilean Refugee Program (in San Jose) or any other Chilean rescue committee, you are welcome to share your experience with us. SUNDAY 30: 7:30PM Concert and Commemorative Ceremony
 

 

  • A musical concert that will reunite the Bay Area's most representative ensembles of Chilean Refugees' musical groups of the late 70s-and 80s. A diverse musical repertoire by ensembles: "Venceremos", “Kamanchaka" and "Raiz" sharing their most representative songs and musical work. This concert will also include a tribute to an individual and/or organization that best represents the solidarity work with Chile and its incipient community in the San Francisco Bay Area.
